Unsure Where You Stand With Philippine Immigration?

You don't have to walk into a Bureau of Immigration office to find out.

Share your details with us confidentially, and we'll review your status and explain exactly where things stand and what, if anything, needs to happen next.

A Familiar Situation

Foreign nationals lose track of their immigration status for all kinds of reasons: incomplete records from a previous immigration transaction, documents handled by an earlier representative, or simply time passing without a clear picture of what's current. Whatever the reason, the uncertainty itself is often the hardest part, and it's exactly what a confidential review is for.

Find Out Where You Stand Before Deciding What Comes Next

You do not need to guess what your current immigration position means. FIS reviews the information and documents available to you and identifies what appears current, incomplete, outstanding or in need of further clarification. We explain the practical significance of what we find and identify the appropriate next step, whether that is no action at all or a specific immigration transaction. If a further immigration matter needs to be addressed, FIS can continue assisting with that process rather than leaving you to manage it alone.

Why This Matters

Not every immigration status issue carries the same consequences. Some matters may simply require the appropriate filing or compliance step, while others can involve additional fees, requirements or delays the next time you need to extend your stay, travel, or deal with the Bureau of Immigration. In more serious circumstances, an unresolved or unlawful immigration status can carry more significant consequences, potentially including detention and deportation. A status review helps establish what your actual position is, rather than assuming either that nothing is wrong or that the situation is worse than it is.

How We Can Assist

  • Reviewing your situation based on the passport information and documents available to you, so you do not need to attend a Bureau of Immigration office yourself simply to begin understanding where you stand
  • Assessing that information to establish your apparent current immigration position
  • Identifying apparent gaps, outstanding matters or inconsistencies that may require attention
  • Explaining what your situation means in practical terms
  • Identifying the appropriate immigration transaction or next step where action is required
  • Coordinating and managing the resulting immigration process where further action is required
  • Providing specific instructions if an original travel document is genuinely required for submission, handling or return

Common Situations We Review

  • Uncertainty about whether your authorised stay remains current
  • Incomplete records from a previous immigration transaction
  • Uncertainty about whether an extension or other transaction was completed
  • A stay that may already have become overdue
  • Preparing for travel while unsure whether an immigration matter remains outstanding
  • Returning to immigration compliance after a period without clear records

How It Works

  1. Tell Us What You Know

Tell us what you know about your situation and share the passport and immigration information available to you. Incomplete records are not a barrier to starting the review.

  2. Status Review

We review the available information and identify what appears current, incomplete, outstanding or in need of further clarification. Where something requires further verification, we will tell you rather than guess.

  3. Clear Recommendation

We explain your apparent position in plain language and identify the appropriate next step, whether that is no immediate action, a specific immigration transaction, or further verification.

  4. Resolution & Follow-Through

Where a further immigration transaction is required and you wish to proceed, FIS assists with the relevant process and keeps you informed. You can track the progress of your transaction through the FIS Client Portal.

If the Review Identifies Something to Address FIS can coordinate and manage the resulting immigration transaction, including the relevant government-facing steps. If your personal attendance or participation is required at any stage, we will let you know exactly what is needed. If an original travel document is genuinely required at any stage, we will provide specific instructions for its submission, handling and return, and will only ask for one where it is genuinely necessary.

Request a Status Review

What if I don't have all my previous immigration documents?

Tell us what you do have. In many cases we can work from your passport and whatever records are available and identify what else is needed as part of the review.

Is this confidential?

Yes. Your information is used solely to assess your situation and handled with the same discretion as every other engagement.

What happens if my authorised stay has already expired?

The appropriate next step depends on your circumstances, including how long the matter has been outstanding, your immigration history and other relevant factors. Tell us what you know and we will assess the situation as part of the review.

What happens after the status review?

We explain your apparent position and identify the appropriate next step. If a further immigration transaction is required and you wish to proceed, FIS can assist with that process.
